Lof’s new wool pendants that dampen noise and diffuse light
The wonders of wool are many and these pendants made from regenerative wool have caught our eye for some time now. Founded by textile designer Sophie Poelman and industrial designer Alain Brideson, Lof tells an authentic sustainability story in the lightest possible way. Knitted shades not only have noise-dampening properties, but bring warmth, texture and translucent beauty to interiors. The company’s Hiwa and Bloem designs are the latest release. Hiwa (left) explores a faceted, star-like geometry inspired by celestial bodies, while Bloem reinterprets the classic cone pendant through a softer, curved structure.
