A decade and a half after his passing, this iconic piece of furniture much loved for its ergonomic form and embodiment of pure comfort is turning 50, and is only more appealing with age. To make a celebratory mark on the epitome of R&R likened by the designer to a tube of toothpaste folded back on itself, heritage brand Ligne Roset is issuing it in two limited-edition coverings — Atom by Danish company Kvadrat and La Toile du Peintre from French studio Pierre Frey.
