The name Cameron Foggo will be familiar to anyone who has followed New Zealand’s history in furniture design. Previously based in Christchurch, before he decamped across the ditch to Byron Bay in 2011, Foggo is a second-generation designer who values craftsmanship and has long had a leaning towards the mid-century aesthetic. That’s evident in the Furrow modular sofa he has designed for luxury brand Natadoro, which combines the deep-button tufting and high rolled-arm signature of a Chesterfield with Scandi sleekness. A future classic, we can easily picture the Furrow upholstered in a timeless neutral fabric or the sandy to mocha-toned brown velvets that are currently making their warmth known on the interior design stage.
