A spoonful of colour

Yesterday we attended the launch of Dulux’s 2017 colour forecast – Antidote: A Colour Cure. Looking to the future they’ve developed a collection of four distinct palettes as a cure for the pressures of modern day living. Get inspired by these interior colour trends for a refresh at your place.

Sentience: A tactile remedy
Texture and earthy tones paired together create serene restful spaces.

Colours pictured: Dulux Pupu Springs, Calm Peak, Mt Albert and Titahi Bay.
Colours pictured: Dulux suede effect Macchiato Malt and Dulux Ngapuna.

Chroma: A graphic view
Inspired by Memphis and Bauhaus design, bold schemes and strong silhouettes guarantee interiors that excite.

Colours pictured: Dulux Kea Point and Crow Valley.
Colours pictured: Dulux Honeymoon Valley and Dulx Gannet island (door).

Entwine: A colourful weave
An eclectic mix of colours taking cues from culture and tradition with a modern twist.

Colours pictured: Dulux Darfield and Gabriel’s Gully.
Colours pictured: Dulux Dusky Forest and archway inner in All Day Bay.

Construct: A luxe foundation
Raw materials and sophisticated, complex shades channel effortless style.

Colours pictured: Dulux concrete effect pale elements, Old man range, and Narrow Neck Half.
Colours pictured: Dulux Five Fingers Peninsula and Hauraki Gulf.

While colour is the hero here we love the introduction of textured paint effects. Stay tuned for the release of these products later in the year.
